One score, every platform

Stop guessing which rating to trust.

IMDb says 8.4. Rotten Tomatoes says 62%. Metacritic says 71. MEANRANK averages them into one number — and shows you every rating behind it.

How the mean score works

1

Normalise

IMDb is out of 10, Letterboxd out of 5, Rotten Tomatoes out of 100. Every rating is converted to the same 0–100 scale first.

2

Average, equally

No platform is weighted above another. Critics and audiences both count once. That is the whole point — the number nobody’s thumb is on.

3

Rank strictly

Highest score first, every time — no weighting, no thumb on the scale. Votes only decide who’s eligible: three platforms and a real audience to be ranked at all.
