In early 1990s Paris, members of the AIDS activism group ACT UP Paris work tirelessly to fight public indifference and government inaction toward the AIDS crisis. The film focuses on the group's passionate debates and provocative actions, as well as the personal relationships within it. It particularly follows the love story between Nathan, a new member, and Sean, a radical and passionate veteran of the group, as they battle for their lives and the lives of others.
