A young woman moves to Los Angeles to start a new life and secures a seemingly perfect apartment in a quiet complex. The neighbors are friendly, almost overly so, and the community is tightly knit. Soon after moving in, she begins to experience disturbing events designed to break her will. She discovers that the apartment complex is a cult-like community with rigid rules and a sinister purpose. Any attempt to resist or escape is met with severe psychological and physical punishment, forcing her to conform or find a way out of the inescapable trap.
