A Fantastic Woman (2017)
A young transgender singer’s life is thrown into turmoil after her older boyfriend suddenly dies. Instead of being allowed to grieve, she is met with suspicion and hostility from his family and the authorities, who question her role in his life and death. She fights for her right to mourn with dignity and to be seen for who she is.
