A Shot in the Dark (1964)
The inept Inspector Clouseau is assigned to investigate a murder at a wealthy man's estate. The primary suspect is the beautiful maid, with whom Clouseau immediately becomes infatuated. His investigation is continually hampered by his own clumsiness and a string of additional murders that occur around him, each of which seems to further implicate the maid he is determined to protect.
