A Thousand Words (2012)
A fast-talking literary agent who relies on smooth lies and empty promises to succeed finds his life upended after a magical Bodhi tree appears in his backyard. He discovers that for every word he speaks, a leaf falls from the tree. With only a thousand leaves, he is rendered mute, forced to confront the shallow nature of his relationships and communicate in new ways before the tree dies.
