A Walk Among the Tombstones (2014)
A former NYPD detective, now an unlicensed private investigator, is hired by a drug kingpin to find the men who kidnapped and brutally murdered his wife, even after the ransom was paid. The ex-cop is drawn into a dark and grim investigation, uncovering a pattern of similar crimes targeting the wives of criminals who cannot go to the police. He must navigate this moral gray area and use his skills to track down the two sadistic killers before they claim their next victim.
