All Dogs Go to Heaven (1989)
A charismatic German Shepherd gangster is murdered by his business partner. He sneaks back from heaven on a temporary pass, using his newfound ability to talk to humans to con his way into a casino. His plans change when he befriends a young orphan girl who can talk to animals, and he must protect her from his former partner.
