Ammonite (2020)
In 1840s England, a renown but overlooked fossil hunter lives a life of quiet isolation on the rugged southern coast. She is commissioned to care for a wealthy Londoner's melancholic wife. Initially reluctant, she forms an intense and intimate bond with her young charge as they explore the coastline and discover fossils together, challenging the constraints of their time.
