And Soon the Darkness (2010)
Two American friends, Stephanie and Ellie, are on a biking vacation through the remote Argentine countryside. After a tense argument, Ellie rides off alone and mysteriously vanishes. Stephanie, left behind, begins a frantic search, hindered by the language barrier and the isolated setting. She encounters suspicious locals, including a former British policeman, and begins to suspect that a local killer who preys on tourists may be responsible, leaving her to trust no one as she races to find her friend.
