A recently widowed man and his two children move into a new apartment, only to be plagued by increasingly violent and unexplained poltergeist activity. A team of parapsychologists is called in to investigate the phenomena. They set up cameras and equipment to document the events, which escalate rapidly. The father believes the disturbances are connected to his wife's recent death. The scientists must use their expertise to determine the cause of the terrifying occurrences, which seem to target the family's deepest grief and fears.
