Barfi! (2012)
In 1970s Darjeeling, a charming and mischievous deaf-mute man named Barfi lives a joyful life despite his disabilities. He falls in love with Shruti, a woman from a conventional family, but their class difference creates an insurmountable barrier. Years later, his life becomes intertwined with Jhilmil, an autistic woman from a wealthy family who goes missing. When Barfi is accused of her kidnapping, he goes on the run with her, leading to a heartfelt chase that explores the purity of love and friendship beyond the boundaries of speech and societal norms.
