Batman: Year One (2011)
Both billionaire Bruce Wayne and honest police lieutenant James Gordon arrive in a crime-ridden Gotham City. The film parallelly tracks their first year: Wayne's early, clumsy attempts to fight crime that lead him to adopt the Batman persona, and Gordon's struggle to be a good cop in a hopelessly corrupt police department, setting the stage for their future alliance.
