Bedevilled (2010)
A woman named Hae-won, stressed by her life in Seoul, visits the remote island where she spent childhood summers. She reconnects with her old friend, Bok-nam, who is brutally mistreated by the island's patriarchal community. Bok-nam, desperate to escape the island with her young daughter, sees Hae-won as her only hope for salvation. When Hae-won remains indifferent to her pleas, Bok-nam's long-suppressed rage erupts, leading to a violent and shocking transformation.
