Before I Wake (2016)
A couple adopts a young foster child who is afraid to fall asleep. They soon discover the reason for his fear: his dreams and nightmares manifest physically in the waking world. When he dreams of beautiful things, like butterflies, they appear. But when he has a bad dream, particularly about a terrifying figure he calls the "Canker Man," that too becomes real, posing a grave danger to everyone around him.
