A shy 16-year-old boy named Mo finds guidance and excitement in his friendship with his older sister's ex-boyfriend, Zeke, a charismatic but directionless college dropout. Zeke introduces Mo to parties, drugs, and a carefree lifestyle that feels liberating. Mo looks up to Zeke, seeing him as the epitome of cool. However, as Mo becomes more enamored with this world, the negative influence of Zeke's irresponsible behavior becomes increasingly apparent, threatening Mo's relationships with his family and his own future, forcing him to question what it really means to grow up.
