Birdy (1984)
Two childhood friends are deeply affected by the Vietnam War. One is physically scarred, while the other, Birdy, is psychologically traumatized and has retreated into a fantasy world where he believes he is a bird. His friend is determined to reach him and bring him back to reality, revisiting their shared past.
