Blancanieves (2012)
A silent, black-and-white retelling of Snow Set in 1920s Seville, a young woman named Carmen escapes her cruel stepmother and finds refuge with a troupe of bullfighting dwarves. She discovers she has a natural talent for the bullring, becoming a famous matador known as Blancanieves. Her rise to fame, however, draws the dangerous attention of the stepmother she fled.
