Braveheart (1995)
William Wallace, a Scottish commoner, is spurred into revolt against the English after the death of his wife at the hands of an English lord. His military prowess and passion unite the fractious Scottish clans, and he leads them in a bloody war for freedom against the oppressive rule of King Edward I of England.
