Bridge of Spies (2015)
During the Cold War, an insurance lawyer is recruited by the CIA to undertake a nearly impossible task: negotiate the exchange of a captured Soviet spy for a captured American U-2 pilot. His mission takes him to East Berlin, a city tense with political strife and paranoia, just as the Berlin Wall is being built. He must navigate the delicate and treacherous negotiations with the KGB and Stasi, operating without official backing and adhering to his own principles of justice to secure the trade.
