Sam and Leslie Phelan, a young couple struggling financially, come into possession of a suitcase containing a massive amount of money. Their dreams of a better life are short-lived when the suitcase’s original owner, a cold and calculating criminal named Pyke Kubic, tracks them down. He doesn’t just want the money back; he forces them to repay every cent they have already spent through a series of dangerous and escalating criminal tasks, turning their windfall into a terrifying nightmare that pushes them to their moral and physical limits.
