Casablanca (1942)
A cynical American expatriate runs a popular nightclub in the Vichy-controlled Moroccan city of Casablanca during the early days of World War II. His neutral stance is tested when his former lover, who left him in Paris, arrives with her Resistance leader husband. They need letters of transit to escape to America, forcing the café owner to choose between love and virtue.
