Case 39 (2009)
A compassionate social worker fights to save a frightened 10-year-old girl from her deeply abusive parents. After placing the child in her own care, she believes the girl is safe. She soon discovers that the girl is not a victim, but something ancient and sinister, and that the parents were not abusive, but trying to protect themselves and the world from her.
