Cat People (1942)
A Serbian fashion artist believes in an ancient curse that condemns her to turn into a deadly panther if she is ever emotionally aroused or kissed by the man she loves. She marries but refuses to consummate the marriage to protect her husband. Her fears and suspicions grow, threatening to destroy her relationship and unleash the primal beast within her.
