CBGB (2013)
A chronicle of the early days of a dilapidated New York City bar that became the unlikely birthplace of a musical revolution. Its hapless owner, with a dream but no business sense, opens the venue and soon finds it populated by a wave of raw, energetic bands. The bar becomes the epicenter of a new sound that would come to be known as punk rock. The story follows the chaotic, messy, and vibrant scene that developed, showcasing the rise of iconic bands and the spirit of DIY rebellion that defined an era.
