Chasing Mavericks (2012)
Based on a true story, a young surfer discovers that the mythic Mavericks surf break, home to massive waves, is real and close to his home. He seeks out a reclusive local legend who knows the break better than anyone to teach him how to survive it. Their training becomes a life lesson in focus, dedication, and respecting the power of the ocean.
