Chicago (2002)
In 1920s Chicago, a housewife dreams of vaudeville stardom. She lands in jail after murdering her lover, where she meets a famous, manipulative nightclub performer also incarcerated for murder. The two women, both under the sway of a slick lawyer who turns their cases into media circuses, compete for the public's fascination and the lawyer's attention, hoping fame will acquit them.
