CJ7 (2008)
A poor laborer struggles to provide for his young son and send him to a prestigious school. He finds a strange orb at a junk heap which he gives to his son as a toy. The orb hatches into an alien creature that forms a bond with the boy and uses its powers to help him at school and against bullies.
