A workaholic architect frustrated with his life finds a universal remote control that allows him to literally fast-forward and pause parts of his life. He initially uses it to skip over annoyances and advance his career, but the remote begins to automatically skip over larger and larger portions of his life, forcing him to miss precious moments.
