Cocoon: The Return (1988)
The group of elderly friends who left Earth with benevolent aliens returns for a visit to see their families. They discover that the pool containing the life-giving cocoons has been moved to a marine institute for study. They must retrieve the cocoons to ensure the survival of their alien friends before returning to their extended lives.
