Cruising (1980)
A young police officer is assigned to go undercover within New York City's underground S&M gay subculture to catch a serial killer targeting its members. As he immerses himself deeper into this world to gather clues, the lines between his assigned identity and his own psyche begin to blur, threatening his sense of self and his grip on the case.
