Dancer in the Dark (2000)
A factory worker, who is slowly losing her eyesight, struggles to save enough money to pay for an operation that will prevent her young son from suffering the same fate. She escapes the harshness of her reality through her love for musicals. When a terrible tragedy strikes, her life begins to unravel, testing her resilience and her unwavering hope for a better future for her child.
