In 1966, during the Vietnam War, a small company of Australian and New Zealand soldiers is dropped into a rubber plantation in South Vietnam. They are vastly outnumbered and soon find themselves surrounded by over 2,000 North Vietnamese Army troops. The ANZAC soldiers must fight for their lives in a desperate, day-long battle. With ammunition running low and casualties mounting, they rely on the courage of their forward air controller to call in artillery strikes dangerously close to their own positions in a brutal struggle for survival.
