Delusions of Grandeur (1971)
In 17th-century Spain, a arrogant and bankrupt king imposes cruel taxes on his subjects. His long-suffering queen secretly hires a witty and cunning commoner to become the new royal valet. His mission is to undermine the king's excesses from within the court, using his cleverness to outsmart the monarch and relieve the people's burden.
