Dial M for Murder (1954)
A former tennis player discovers his wealthy wife has been unfaithful. He devises an elaborate plan to have her murdered. He blackmails an old acquaintance into carrying out the killing, which is designed to look like a botched burglary. However, his perfectly planned scheme begins to unravel due to unexpected twists of fate and a sharp-witted police investigator.
