Doctor Sleep (2019)
Decades after the events at the Overlook Hotel, a now-adult Dan Torrance struggles with the same demons of anger and alcoholism that plagued his father. He finds a semblance of peace by using his "shining" ability to comfort the dying. His quiet life is shattered when he makes psychic contact with a young girl whose powerful shine attracts a predatory cult that feeds on the steam of those with the gift.
