Dolly Kitty and Those Twinkling Stars (2019)
Two cousins, Dolly and Kitty, live in the expanding suburbs of Delhi. Dolly struggles with the dissatisfactions of her seemingly perfect married life, while Kitty explores her sexuality and independence through a job at a dating app company and a relationship with a younger man. Their lives intertwine as they each search for freedom and fulfillment, challenging societal expectations and family pressures. The film explores their complex bond and their individual journeys toward self-discovery against a backdrop of urban change.
