Dragon (2011)
In a quiet 1917 village, Liu Jinxi is a humble papermaker with a mysterious past. When he defends himself against two notorious bandits, killing them with surprising skill, he attracts the attention of an obsessive detective, Xu Baijiu. The detective begins to suspect that Jinxi is not who he claims to be and may be connected to a long-unsolved crime. As Xu digs deeper, Jinxi is forced to confront the violent secrets he has tried to bury, leading to a tense cat-and-mouse game that threatens to destroy his peaceful new life.
