Evolution (2001)
Two community college professors discover a mysterious meteor that has crashed in the Arizona desert. It contains extraterrestrial single-cell organisms that begin evolving at an incredible rate. They team up with a government scientist and a firefighter-in-training to try to contain the rapidly developing alien lifeforms before they overrun the entire planet.
