Faces Places (2017)
Agnes Varda, a legendary French director, and JR, a young photographer, travel through rural France in a special van that prints large-format photographs. They meet people in villages and farming communities, listening to their stories and creating giant portrait posters that they paste on buildings, barns, and trains. The film is a visual journey about art, friendship, and finding the beauty in ordinary lives, as the two artists connect with the heart of France.
