Fahrenheit 451 (1966)
In a future society, books are banned and any found are burned by "firemen." One such fireman, Guy Montag, begins to question his role after meeting a free-thinking neighbor. He starts secretly collecting and reading books, an act of rebellion that puts him in direct conflict with the oppressive government he once served.
