Falling Down (1993)
An ordinary, divorced defense engineer, pushed to his breaking point by Los Angeles traffic, gridlock, and daily frustrations, abandons his car and begins a long walk across the city to attend his daughter's birthday party. His journey becomes a descent into madness as his pent-up rage manifests in violent encounters with a series of people he perceives as representative of a society that has failed him—a Korean shopkeeper, gang members, and fast-food employees—all while a retiring police officer tracks his path.
