A team of investigators from the Vatican is sent to a remote village in the English countryside to assess a reported miracle: a church that seems to possess miraculous healing properties. The team, including a cynical, tech-savvy agent, sets up equipment to document any supernatural occurrences. Initially skeptical, they soon begin to witness increasingly disturbing and inexplicable events. As they delve deeper into the history of the church and the land it stands on, they uncover a dark, ancient secret far more terrifying and malevolent than the miracle they were sent to verify.
