Footloose (1984)
A teenage boy from Chicago moves to a small, conservative town where the local council, following a tragedy, has banned rock music and public dancing. His love of music and dancing clashes with the town's strict laws and the minister who champions them. He decides to challenge the ban, rallying the local youth to fight for their right to hold a senior dance.
