Two wealthy sisters, Nora and Mary Dominguez, have their lives upended when their father dies suddenly, leaving them penniless due to a fraudulent will. Forced out of their Beverly Hills mansion, they have no choice but to move in with their estranged aunt in the working-class, predominantly Latino neighborhood of Boyle Heights. The sisters must adapt to a completely different world, navigating cultural roots they had ignored, financial struggles, and new romantic interests, all while learning what truly matters beyond material possessions and social status.
