Full Metal Jacket (1987)
The story follows a group of new US Marine recruits as they endure the brutal and dehumanizing training process under a punishing Gunnery Sergeant. The film then follows one recruit, Joker, to the war in Vietnam, where he works as a military journalist but is thrust into the chaos and moral confusion of the Tet Offensive.
