Get the Gringo (2012)
A career criminal is caught by Mexican authorities after a car chase across the border. He is thrown into a violent and unique prison that operates like a small city. He befriends a young boy and his mother, and uses his wits to survive and navigate the corrupt system, all while plotting an escape and a score.
