Gone with the Wind (1939)
The story follows the life of a spoiled Southern belle during the American Civil War and Reconstruction era. She is determined to save her family plantation, Tara, using any means necessary. Her survival is intertwined with her turbulent and obsessive relationship with a roguish blockade runner.
