Gran Torino (2008)
A disgruntled, retired Korean War veteran and recent widower is entrenched in his racially homogeneous neighborhood, which is now dominated by Hmong immigrants. He is initially hostile to his new neighbors but is drawn into their lives when a teenage boy is pressured by a local gang to steal the man's prized 1972 Gran Torino. He reluctantly becomes an unlikely protector for the family, using his tough, old-school mentality to defend them from the gang's violence and help the boy find a better path.
