Hair (1979)
A naive Oklahoma farm boy arrives in New York City before reporting for military service in the Vietnam War. He meets and is adopted by a tribe of free-spirited hippies, who introduce him to their lifestyle of peace, love, and protest. Their friendship and his experiences over a few days profoundly change his worldview on the eve of his departure for war.
